Dagnabit! It has been much too cold here in the Deep South. This Friday it is supposed to drop into the low 20’s, maybe even into the upper teens. Father Orthoduck wonders how one is supposed to go skinny dipping and fishing in this dang weather. Why my feathers are getting chilblains!
Seriously, all the locals are saying that it has been quite a while since they have seen this long of a cold spell. Of course, the snowstorm of 1993 was technically worse, but it was gone after five days. Here the current snowstorm left snow on the ground longer and now there is yet another cold spell moving in.
Maybe Father Orthoduck should have flown south for the winter.
