We have three daughters, a couple of sons-in-law and all our grandkids here for Mother’s Day. The comic above expresses how I feel.
Now, if only I could convince them that Father’s Day rates the same response. Sadly, it will only be telephone calls. SIGH!
Father father, we love visiting with you and you do warrant as much attention as our mother gets. That being said, Mother’s Day is not the sole reason why we are here, young man. We are here to celebrate the new life in your middle daughter. 🙂 You should come to Florida for Father’s Day and then we can take you to my in-laws house and we can have a wild party!
