The deacon above has it just right! Most of my complaints tend to come out when something has happened in my life that does not appear to be in accord with what I think should have happened. All too often, I am of the opinion that God should agree with me. Well, I would never phrase it that way, of course. But, that is what most of us think whenever we question God about what has happened.
Does that mean that we should never ask God questions? Of course not, many characters in Scripture and many saints in history have openly asked God questions. But, there is a difference between asking questions and questioning God. And, someday I will even be able to tell the difference between the two in my life.
