May or may not be small hiatus in posting

19 July 2009 · by  Fr. Ernesto 14 Comments

My long-postponed outpatient surgery looks like it will finally take place. It had been postponed by the anesthesiologist for cardiac testing. The cardiac testing was eventually done and I was passed. Then, it took a while longer to re-schedule the elective surgery, and, now, finally, it will take place tomorrow.

I have heard different things of the aftermath, this is why I say that there may be a small hiatus, or there may not. We shall see how quickly I can return to blogging.

I have a deviated septum in my nose, plus a sinus infection that won't quit plus a bone spur up there. So they are going to go up break bone, scrape sinus, remove spur, resect tissue, etc. Fun, fun.

Ernesto is recovering as expected. A bit woozy, but recovering from the anesthesia normally. Per the Dr, all went well.

What Fr. John and Rick said…

“O Holy Father, heavenly Physician of our souls and bodies, who has sent thine only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to heal all our ailments and to deliver us from death: do Thou visit and heal Thy servant, the priest Ernesto, granting him release from pain and restoration to health and vigor that he may give thanks unto Thee and bless Thy Holy Name, for Thou art the good God who lovest humanity, and to Thee do we ascribe glory, together with Thine only-begotten Son and Thine All-Holy, Good, and Lifegiving Spirit, One God in both worlds unto the Aeon of aeons. Amen.”
